One thing above all else that will kill the quality of your work is a lack of passion, vision, confidence, and discipline. The best of the best respect the performance, health, temperament, and structure their pack. The vitality of my vision for Steele Kennel streamlines from a passion that I’ve had since I was a youth. As far back as I can remember there was always a dog by my side, my personal best friend from God. My passion never faded, if anything it became my purpose. Establishing myself as a breeder took time. It took research. It took support from my family and confidence in myself.

Love At First Sight
November 28, 2018
At the age of 18, Eli purchased his first American Bully, Kano, and his first Boerboel, Kaos, to build his vision for the Steele Kennel family.
Shadowing Elite K9K
June 17, 2019
Young and new to the game, Eli went to Amherstburg, Canada to shadow Elite K9K and gain some experience in the breeding industry. There was a lot to learn.
Steele Kennels Founded
September 6, 2020
This program didn’t start out with glitz and glamour. The first facility that fostered this program was a two car garage at Eli’s personal home. We all start somewhere.
New Facility Construction Begins
January 3, 2021
New facility construction begins in January 2021. This modern facility is equipped with sound deadening walls, temperature control, a kitchen, and ample space in mind to house our 11 American Bullies and 2 Boerboels. In addition, this facility is designed to also support our boarding program in the near future.
First Dog Show
March 8, 2021
Having built up our reputation and network in the breeding community, Eli and his team attended the Code Red Dog Show in Reading, Pennsylvania where two of his dogs came in first and third place.
1st Litter – Athena x Romulus
September 8, 2021
After two long years of blood, sweat, and tears, Steele Kennel produced it’s first litter in September 2021.
